Interdimensional Interference and Pattern Bleed
At times there can be what is observed as a sudden slippage between similar time streams as a result of dimensional frequency interference. Effectively the dimensional or temporal version of radio static. Human beings are a pattern in a particular dimensional frequency. As such, that pattern can bleed into nearby frequencies when there is a disturbance or power spike in that frequency.
The difference between a bleed in radio frequencies and dimensional frequencies is persistence. Once a pattern has been introduced to a particular dimensional frequency it becomes a part of the overall pattern held within that frequency. From the perspective of linear time, the bled pattern would be carried forward from the point of interference until the end of the signal. This makes pattern leak between dimensional frequencies essentially permanent.
One other thing to consider is that a pattern being bled into a nearby time stream does not mean that the original pattern has moved, but rather been copied in a most likely degraded form. In fact that pattern likely still exists in the old frequency unless the power spike was massive enough to permanently disrupt the original pattern. A higher spike of power or disruption is likely to create a clearer bleed of pattern, but also more likely to disrupt the original signal.
We, like all things, are a pattern in a frequency. A weak signal in the multiverse. We are a song in the static of eternity or perhaps just beautiful noise.
