Burgundy Wolf is a detective in the cesspool called Heartbeat City. A man of conviction, keen insight, heroic heart, and an unending need to scrape together enough cold cash to keep himself fed and his office open. He watches over Heartbeat. He protects more people then just those who hire him (which admittedly between the lack of cash in Heartbeat and the fear of the local mobs isn't too many). He fights to bring back the city he knew before the mobs came. Before paid off political figures. Before cops that shoot the innocent to make an extra buck. He fights, because someone needs to do it, and because that someone is him, The Burgundy Wolf.
